About Us

A Jodhpur dining room built around one honest idea.

Our Story

On 4th C Road in Sardarpura, a few steps off the everyday rush, Chouhan Restaurant keeps a simple promise: vegetarian food cooked with care, served warm, at a table you never feel hurried to leave.

Our thali is where most guests begin — paneer sabji, a second seasonal sabji, dal simmered until it turns silky, dahi vada resting in cool curd, and butter tava rotis brought hot to the table. Stay longer and the kitchen shifts registers: a crisp masala dosa, naan blistered against the tandoor wall, a wood-fired-style paneer pizza for the youngest at the table, and a Rajwadi thick shake to finish.

Thalis, tandoor, South Indian, pizza and shakes — five appetites, one roof, and a single standard for all of them.

What We Stand For

Four things we don't compromise on.

Purely Vegetarian

One kitchen, one commitment. Nothing non-vegetarian passes through our doors.

Rajasthani Hospitality

Water poured before you ask, and second helpings offered before you finish.

Cooked Fresh Daily

Gravies started each morning, breads pulled from the tandoor when you order.

Made for Families

Booth seating, unhurried tables and a menu wide enough to keep everyone happy.

The Face on Our Door

The chef in the gold ring.

The mustached chef on our signboard isn't a logo we bought — he's the spirit of the house. Moustache proud, hat straight, always mid-welcome. Guests point at him before they point at the menu, and that suits us perfectly: someone should be smiling at the door before the food arrives.
